Power was put down through a set of Mickey Thompson’s measuring 315/60/R15.

This Evo was tuned by Jason Oefelein and makes 865 whp.  A few months before, the client took the Evo to Import Face Off for some shakedown runs.

After a few warm up runs, the client made it down the track in 9.947 secs at 147.67 mph. There was a little wheel spin out of the hole but still managed a 1.55 60ft.

Congrats on getting into the 9′s, we expect to see some faster times as our client gets more time behind the wheel.

The sun has showed up again after a few days of cloudy weather.  Hopefully this weather keeps up and the summer is a good one.  We hope this sun stays for our Second Annual Summer Cruise-In and dyno exhibition.  It has been scheduled for July 3oth. Continue to check back here for more updates.

This Twin-turbo Dodge Ram SRT-10 was the highest horsepower vehicle of the dyno exhibition.

If you have ever been to PSI and had a tour, you know that our dyno room has an HD feed to our lounge area along with a tv for the dyno charts and graphs. 

When you are waiting for your car to be worked on or just in for a visit, depending on the day, you can see a wide variety of cars on the dyno from classic muscle cars to high-end imports and exotics. 

For many, hanging at PSI all day watching the cars on the dyno is impractical, however we offer an online HD experience.  If you have had your car on the dyno, you already know that we record a run and create an HD video with a dyno chart.  We make this video available on our dyno site, which is http://dyno.tunedbypsi.com.  Through this site, you can show off your car to your friends and family and also grab the link to post it on the internet.

We recognize that making a car that can put down over 1000whp is a very impressive feat.

The truck is a Pro Stock 1956 Chevy Truck. 

With a parachute and wheelie bars, this is a very fast ’56 Chevy.  The owner/driver hopes to break into the 8s with this setup. 

Under the hood is a fully built 565 cid Chevy V8. 

This engine is running at 14.7 to 1 compression.  The list of parts is extensive and from the best component manufacturers.  Power is transferred to the ground through a Turbo 400 with 4:10 gears.

The Viper was beaten by another vehicle powered by a Viper V10.  This 2005 twin-turbo Dodge Ram SRT-10 put down 1260 whp and 1192 ft-lbs of torque.  With a race gas map, the truck was able to make this much power from the V10 with the help of two GT42 turbos.

We will just have to wait and see how long this Twin-Turbo Ram SRT-10 stays at the top.

This coming July 24 will be the our first Summer Cruise-In and Dyno Exhibition. Come down to check out what we having going on from 9am to 5pm.  All makes and models welcomed.  We will have domestic, imports, and exotics.  If you are wondering what kinds of cars we work on, check out our blog to see some of our past work. 

They dyno exhibition will consist of 8 vehicles with a total of over 8000 whp.  Dyno runs will begin at noon, so be here to see some powerful cars. 

Musical entertainment will also be provided.  Specifics are yet to be determined.
